Reserve Bank of India has uploaded RBI Grade B Officer syllabus 2015 along with study material, previous year’s paper, reference books, exam pattern, date of examination etc on at official site rbi.org.in. The fresh and newly designed curriculum is uploaded for written examination. Nominees who have made registration process or willing to apply are suggested to refer given syllabus for preparation.

Recently job notification proclaimed in order to fill 134 vacant posts of grade B officer. The online registration process started from 05th October 2015. Nominees seeking for Latest Bank Jobs 2015 should utilize RBI grade B officer Recruitment 2015 link from an above-mentioned site. Link have made available and it will be closed on 23rd October 2015.

The written test shall comprise of 2 phase where phase 1 consists 200 objective types multiple choice questions with weightage of 200 marks. Students shall have 130 Minutes to complete answer paper. Questions shall cover General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.

Phase 2 shall comprise of minimum 100 questions with 300 mark weightage.  Time duration for a complete paper will be 180 minutes. Questions lead from various topics such as English, Economic and social issues, Finance and management.

  • Time duration: 130 Minutes

General Awareness

Geography-Indian, History Freedom, Struggle, Culture & Sports, General Politics & Constitution of India, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs, Reasoning & Analytical ability, Sports, Culture

English Language

Verbal Ability, Grammar, Vocabulary, Complete Grammar, Subject-verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, Tenses

Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning

Simplification, number series, quadratic equations average, percentage, time & work, area, profit & loss, simple & compound interested, time & speed, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, seating arrangements


Phase 2:
  • Total number of questions: 100 minimum
  • Marks: 300
  • Time duration: 180 Minutes
